### Variable Separable Form of Differential Equations 1

This video gives you a sight of Formation of a Differential Equation Sometimes, we consider a functional relation containing arbitrary constants. Then, differentiate the relation to any order required and using the differential coefficients, remove the arbitrary constants. (or, shall we say, eliminate them). We, then, get an equation containing it y, x, dy/dx, d2y/dx2 , etc. It is this differential equation which is taken to correspond to the given functional relation. We are, thus, said to have formed a differential equation from the given functional relation.
